My goal in art is simply to create for the love of creating.
From growing up in an extremely creative and crafty family, I have always loved experimenting with new methods of making art and trying out EVERYTHING! Sewing, painting, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, felting, you name it, I did it. And I believe that the foundation of love for creating is what has brought me here today.
During my time studying Graphic Design at Texas Tech, I have grown a deeper appreciation for the art of art and have also happened to have fallen in love with clay. I took one ceramics class, and that was it, I was hooked. During my Junior year, I began to sell my work to friends and family, which led me to create "Made by Aniela." Where I now sell at local art markets and hopefully online soon.
I have been given the wonderful opportunity to teach at the Lubbock Garden and Arts Center this year, and I have loved sharing the love of creating with all of my students. While I am soon to graduate, I am eager to continue learning and growing my skills and style.
